Unwell

Watched Ice Age 3 with MC and Youwei today, it was a pretty funny movie but apparently MC said that the previous ones were more funny so one day when i have time i will go watch them.

Now, i have this cough which is slightly bad and is making me feel so sick...and i still have to work tomorrow, i hope i don't come down with H1N1. -.-

YAY! I got the PS2 emulator to work on my comp and i can play Final Fantasy X without any problems! (Only got to the new game screen though) I even took a screenshot of my success!



Having a few problems uploading a video so i will edit this post later when i get it up. I have taken a few videos and combined them together into this short movie chronicling the ending of Final Fantasy 9. Please don't mind the quality, i had to lower it significantly for it to be able to be uploaded to the blog.

I removed a few parts from the movie because people who did not play the game will not understand them.

Final Fantasy endings make me sad ='(

I am watching the ending for final fantasy X and it is making me soooo sad, it is on the verge of making me cry just by listening to the sad music...:( I think i will share it with anyone who is willing to watch it.

To demotivate

Went to buy some print cartridges today for my printer but they cost $39 each.....so i decided not to buy them and try to find a cheaper place. Since i do not have much to post, i shall just post some pics which will DEMORALIZE you!!

Too much of a thing can be bad

I just realized today....i care too much about people. I think i should learn how to be more discreet in my care for people. Be less obvious that i care about them! Maybe another possible way is to not care as much....

Now why am i talking like this? The feeling just hit me all of a sudden today and i decided to vent and there is no place better to vent than your own blog.

Also, today was one of the most fun data comm lessons i ever had, the solving of the cryptography was so interesting.

I went to Ion today to walk around and woah.....that place is HUGE! Also, 99.99% of the stores there sell branded products and i doubt that is a place for casual buyers to go.. I have seen some clothes selling for 5k and shoes selling for 2k. Such a scary place if your wallet is thin like mine. >_>

Edit: OMG! I just saw some pics a friend posted from the NDP preview and they brought tanks to the NDP!!!!!!! WHY DID I HAVE TO BE OUT OF TOWN ON THE ACTUAL DAY ITSELF!?

Weirdly enough...

I feel more bored on weekends than weekdays, why is that? -.- Shouldn't weekends be more of a relaxation day so why do i still feel like i prefer weekdays. >_> I guess school life is so interesting now that i enjoy school.

Journey to the West

Liverpool fans rejoice! I was at Jurong Point today and i stumbled past this.

So......naturally i waited for the stars to come out.......and,



And....they signed jerseys and then gave them out as prizes for people. They also had an autograph session with their fans.



Then, the photo session for the fans started, only a select few had the privilege of taking a photo with them.








Then they took photos with the organisers/workers of the entire thing,




Finally, a bunch of people who won the lucky draw got to take solo pictures with the stars. I only took 1 photo before i left. -.-



Oh, and i forgot to mention, tickets to the liverpool match were given out to people who answered questions correctly before the stars arrived. The people looked so happy when they got the tickets. ^^

So i went to eat Pizza with Jade/Kat/Yili/Salha and Kelvin today and i got the privilege of seeing somebody with this shirt.

An introduction

Today....i am going to introduce you readers to a comic strip which i have been following for a year. However, this strip has been going on for 10? years and i really enjoy the comic strip. You can also see the improvement in art over the years.

Chocolate math

So i just got an email which was really interesting, first you choose the number of times you would like to eat chocolate every week (more than 1 and less than 10), then you multiply that number by 2. After that, you add 5 to the number then multiply it by 50. Then if you already had your birthday this year, add 1759 to that number, otherwise, add 1758, now subtract your year of birth from that number. Now this is where it gets really interesting, in the resulting 3 digit number, the first digit is the number of times you wanted to eat chocolate and the last 2 digits is your age!

Interesting eh? :D

I shall give an example of myself, I chose the number 3 for my chocolate. So, 3 x 2 = 6. Then 6 + 5 = 11, then 11 x 50 = 550. 550 + 1759 = 2309. 2309 - 1992 = 317. First number is my chocolate and the last 2 numbers are my age!

Make poverty history!

Just came back from Jurong East after doing my ONOW global issues project with Shalrizan,Izyan and Audi, for my group we are doing a presentation about poverty. After we finished our presentation, we went to IMM to eat LJS. Yumz. We also went to Daiki (edit: Daiso, thx shalrizan)to walk around and we also took a few joke pics of us doing stupid stuff haha.

So it is a boring boring day today. Gonna slack at home until i get the urge to do some of my assignments.

Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen

So i just finished the Ocean's trilogy and MAN, i just love those kinds of movies. It feels so good to see the kind of movies where the main villians get outsmarted.

Now combo it with an ultra move!

Parry Hotter and the Half Blood Princess

AHHH Im back just after watching the newest Harry Potter movie, honestly, i can use 1 4 letter word to describe the movie. L-A-M-E

The storyline does not deviate much from the book, there were no extra parts which were not in the book. I think the only part of the movie which was worthwhile were the "Ron" moments. You will understand when you watch it. The love thing was also setup in this movie already. Like, you KNOW that they like each other from their actions in the movie. It does not even require a rocket scientist to realise that...

Also, there were a few moments in the movie where i noticed that Mr Potter looks similar to me. -.-

All in all, the movie, i would give it a 6/10, maybe 7/10 for the laughs. Other than that, not really much of a reason to watch it other than to follow the entire movie series of Parry Hotter.

$50!?

I just came back from cutting my hair and damn, some guy and his 2 kids spent over $50 on those toy machines outside the saloon. The kids came in multiple times with 10 dollar notes to change for coins and it was so weird. o.O

Cats Car-nival!

Ahhhh just came back from work and it was a pretty satisfying day. Took a lot of pics and enjoyed meself. I have so many things to post and it took me a while to sort through all the photos to find some decent ones to post, because obviously i have too many pics to post here..hahaz.

There was a baby crawling competition held there and it was interesting to see the parents try to lure the babies to the finishing line with handphones/rattles/food. Hahs



There was a race queen competition going on at the stage so i went and took a photo of the semifinalists. ^^




They were doing a catwalk as part of the semifinals so i went and took a video. As a result of me forgetting i could take videos.....i missed the first contestant of the catwalk. :( Also there is a little blooper of me laughing in the background so please ignore that... -.-

Since the winner is crowned "Race queen"....it would be appropriate to show how they act as a race queen, CAR HUGGING! I so wish i was the car. :( Oh and i forgot, the car apparently is a Subari STI. It has been modified for the F1 race track so it has had the passenger seats removed and carbon steel side mirrors. o.O I don't remember the exact details so correct me somewhere if i was wrong.
